About

Adrian Barbu is a professor in the Department of Statistics at Florida State University. He received a Ph.D. in mathematics from Ohio State University and a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2005. His expertise spans computer vision, machine learning and medical imaging, resulting in over 50 publications and 20 patents. He is a recipient of the Thomas A. Edison Patent Award and the FSU Graduate Faculty Mentor Award.
