Graduate Program

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, "Employment of statisticians is projected to grow 27 percent from 2012 to 2022, much faster than the average for all occupations. Growth is expected to result from more widespread use of statistical analysis to make informed business, healthcare, and policy decisions." As the statistics profession rapidly increases, so does our department. Our graduate student enrollment has more than tripled over the last ten years, and the demand for statisticians has ensured our graduates employment in academia, industry, and government agencies across the country and globe, including Eli-Lilly, Merck, USFDA, and the UN Economic Commission for Europe.

We offer Master of Science degrees in Biostatistics and Statistics as well as a Master of Science degree in Statistics with a major in Statistical Data Science. The Department also offers Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Biostatistics and Statistics and certification in Data Management and Analysis using SAS.   FSU also has a new interdisciplinary Data Science Program.  We would love for you to apply to one of our graduate programs and invite you to do so online at Florida State's admissions website: http://gradschool.fsu.edu/admissions/graduate-admissions.
