Graduate Program

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, "Employment of statisticians is projected to grow 27 percent from 2012 to 2022, much faster than the average for all occupations. Growth is expected to result from more widespread use of statistical analysis to make informed business, healthcare, and policy decisions." As the statistics profession rapidly increases, so does our department. Our graduate student enrollment has more than tripled over the last ten years, and the demand for statisticians has ensured our graduates employment in academia, industry, and government agencies across the country and globe, including Eli-Lilly, Merck, USFDA, and the UN Economic Commission for Europe.

You can find out information on our graduates, faculty, and their award-winning work in our newsletter. We offer Master of Science degrees in Biostatistics, Statistics as well as a Master of Science degree in Statistics with a major in Statistical Data Science.
