Together with ARIANA group at INRIA, Sophia Antipolis, France, our group
has been awarded an INRIA ASSOCIATED TEAM award for research and collaboration
with ARIANA on Statistical Theory of Configurations of Shapes for
Analyzing Aerial and Sateillite Images. This team named SHAPES involves Drs. Josiane
Zerubia, Ian Jermyn, and Xavier Descombes from ARIANA and Profs. Anuj Srivastava
and Vic Patrangenaru from FSU. For more information on this joint research,

Shantanu Joshi wins FSU's graduate student research award for the year 2007. A total of

paper award at CORESA, 2006.
NEWS:
Srivastava's research on Statistical Shape Analysis has been selected
by the Northrup-Grumman Company for an Innovation Alliance Award . This funding
will be used to develop collaborations with Dr. Steven Schwartz and his team at the
Northrup-Grumman company.
