Constructing a Scatterplot (with Video)

Please click on the following link and save it to your desktop: Plant Growth Data

Now go to your desktop and double click on the JMP file.
This process will automatically start JMP and display the following dataset.


Click the Analyze menu and then select Fit Y by X.


The following dialog box will appear.


Click the column Height of Plant then select Y, Response.
Click the column Days in Sunlight then select X, Factor.
Your dialog box should now look like the following.


Click Ok.
Your scatterplot will then be produced.
