I have had the distinct privilege of associating with first rate
instructors and scientists throughout my journey. With an enthusiasm
enjoyed by only a select few, Steve Hopkins introduced me to the grammar
of physics in high school. Provoking within me a sense of wonder and awe
(solving the hydrogen atom), Ray Hefferlin (Doc) revealed to me the
beauty and logical elegance that is physics. In completely different ways,
Robert Huse, Martyn Corden, Christos Georgiopolous and Saul Youssef
constantly challenged my intuition and taught me the most valuable of all
lessons: a challenging critical viewpoint. It is difficult to estimate the
impact that these instructors have had on my life.

 Lots of text was cut from this.

\def\abstracttext{
  \hskip\parindent
 This is simply a paragraph of text, which I hope will take up some space
on the first page, as well as the abstract page. It is merely nonsense.
\par
However, I would like to take this opportunity to let you know that
you should probably read the \textsl{fsuguide.ps} file which is
contained within the same directory. The file \textsf{test.tex} and
all of the files included therein are an admixture of some ``real''
portions of R.~Cavanaugh's file, and some of the more nonsensical
portions are from a system-default file known as  \textsf{story.tex}
which comes packed with every version of \TeX.
\par
Many undefined references will be noted when you run this file --
pay no mind to them - I didn't include a lot of figures, table sor
references, and I didn't bother to remove the references that were
in Richard's file.
