Research Interests
|
- Registration and alignment of functional data.
- Statistical modeling and analysis of neural spike trains.
- Statistical analysis of spectral/temporal features in birdsongs methods and real-time decoding systems for hand motion in motor cortex. The methods include state-space models, MCMC, adaptive Bayesian inferences, and informationtheoretic models. My recent work also investigates statistical representation of spectral/temporal features of bouts and notes in songbirds.
