It's time to make plans to attend next year's annual chapter meeting. It will be held on Friday, February 3
and Saturday, February 4, 2012. The Department of Mathematics and Statistics
of the University of North Florida in Jacksonville will be hosting our meeting.
This year's conference has a host of outstanding speakers, including the following three plenary speakers:
- Nancy L. Geller, NIH, 2011 ASA President
- Andrew Rosalsky, Department of Statistics, University of Florida
- Russell R. Romanella, Associate Director for Engineering and Technical Operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center
Along with the plenary talks, there will be invited and contributed speakers, awards for student paper presentations,
our popular Friday night banquet and the annual business meeting.

UPDATE Please note that the paper submission deadline opens November 21 and closes
January 10, 2012. Students who wish to attend the
conference but not the banquet should still send in a registration form. We need this in order to reserve rooms and order refreshments.

There will be five student awards given out at the meeting. At least two of the awards will be for applied
statistics papers / presentations.
